The place is amazing and beyond as expected. The ac is up to date and very effective. The patio and pool are spectacular, the hosts have it maintained twice a week. The hosts-Petra and Sander-are beyond welcoming and responsive. Our flight to Aruba was delayed and we also may have become lost, Petra was there the moment we arrived to welcome us. The photos do not give the size of the property justice. It’s conveniently located near Eagle and Palm Beaches, the hotel district, Superfoods and two bodegas/convenience stores. The responsiveness of the hosts was spot on and immediate. There was an issue with the property later one evening and they came immediately to take care of it. They went above and beyond in every way. These hosts and this house…book it. If this house isn’t available then book another that they have and you will not be disappointed.
We had a wonderful stay at the house. The amenities were great and the close proximity to the beaches and the grocery store was awesome!! The host Petra met us when we reached the house and gave us lots of tips and useful information and showed us around the house. The binder left for guests with restaurant recommendations etc was also super helpful. The response from the hosts was very fast whenever I had any questions. The pool was always warm and wonderful to relax in. I highly recommend this house as it is very central and nicely setup.
Petra was such a gracious hostess. Timely and helpful. The space was clean and the back yard was amazing! Shaded sitting spaces, a clean pool and a great BBQ made the stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in the house. The outdoor space where we spent most of our time was beautiful. The location was very convenient. It’s right between the Eagle beach and Palm beach areas. It’s a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, and a super market. 10 mins drive to Oranjestad. The house has security system and there is a safe. Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler were provided which was a big plus. Petra is an amazing host. She met us in the house, provided all necessary information and was very quick to respond.

What a great villa to spend a vacation in Aruba. It lacks nothing. The garden / terrace is lovely with a spacious canopy at the house, the Gazebo, BBQ, not to mention the pool. Shade can be found at any time of the day. Made a lot of use of the ice maker in the fridge :). Renting a 4 × 4 (at the end of the street) is highly recommended, for example to visit the Natural Pool. Supermarket, but more importantly the beaches, can be found in the immediate vicinity. We had a very nice stay in Aruba, partly thanks to your great home. We especially enjoyed the beautifully landscaped garden, what a beautiful picture and we made frequent use of the covered seating area at the back of the garden. The facilities in and around the house were more than sufficient, including grateful use of the ice cube machine in the refrigerator. If we still want to indicate something then it is the amount of knives, this is not spacious with 5 people, especially if the dishwasher runs once a day, as we did. Others wrote about nuisance from the neighbor’s dog. We had no problems, the dog only barked when the cleaning lady of the pool was busy (and that was early in the morning…), nothing more.
We have experienced both Aruba and Curacao. Aruba is smaller in scale and therefore a bit more relaxed in our eyes. There is more to do in Curacao when it comes to places of interest. The beaches on Aruba, on the other hand, are more accessible, less crowded and nicer (white) sand.
Maybe in the future we will book a vacation to Aruba again, we will in any case recommend your home to other Aruba travelers.

We were able to explore the entire island with the rental car and see all the beautiful places of Aruba (we think). This was not our first visit to Aruba, but it was to Vila San Miguel. I cannot imagine that I will ever book another cottage after our stay in Vila San Miguel. The location of this house was perfect, and of course the service. The villa / garden / pool is actually bigger than the pictures show. We did not experience the vila well inside, as we could be found all day in the garden or in the pool. We did use the kitchen and everything was perfect in the kitchen. Different types and sizes of pans, but also storage boxes so that we could take home-made food to the beach for example. All in all, the house was clean, very family and child friendly and in one word PERFECT! We stayed in Vila San Miguel from April 13 to April 22, 2017.

Enjoyed the Happy Island wonderfully. The apartment meets everything you can expect, including generous bath towels and use of washing machine / dryer. Within walking distance a large (Dutch) supermarket) and you can rent a car at the end of the street. It is recommended to have a good look at all corners of the beautiful island. And even with a 4 × 4 you get to the most remote and beautiful, wild places on the island. We therefore had the wonderful feeling of being able to plan our program ourselves. The kitchen in the apartment offers you the possibility to cook for yourself, but the many restaurants on the island make that unnecessary. You eat your best at the “own” inland restaurants, but of course a dinner on the beach is also possible. The most beautiful snorkeling spots on the island are a few hundred meters away. Do not forget your underwater camara (I forgot the charging cable) and do not take beautiful shells or pieces of (petrified) coral with you to the Netherlands (which we did) which the customs did not like. But most of all, we enjoyed this beautiful island, the wonderful weather and the nice and friendly islanders.
